The top satellite-direct-to-standard-phone telecoms firm in the world, Lynk Global, Inc, said today that it has signed its second business agreement with Telecel Group in Africa to offer services to Vodafone Ghana consumers. Using Lynk’s “cell-towers-in-space,” the latest agreement will give all 31 million people in Ghana access to mobile service.

According to Lynk CEO Charles Miller, this transaction strengthens Lynk’s dominance in Africa’s satellite-direct-to-standard-phone market and marks a significant turning point as interest in the market grows. In the entire globe, Lynk is the only business with a patent, track record of success, and commercial license for satellite-direct-to-standard-phone technology, says Miller.

With the help of Lynk’s “cell towers in space,” Telecel Group will be able to provide omnipresent geographic coverage to in excess of six million Vodafone Ghana subscribers. They will also be used to expand rural coverage, including in the Maritime Economic Zone, as a reserve to ensure service resilience, to maintain the functionality of IoT devices, and to replace terrestrial towers that are performing poorly (in terms of cost or technicality).

“We are enthusiastic about the opportunities this alliance offers the nation. According to Patricia Obo-Nai, chief executive officer of Vodafone Ghana, “it offers the rare potential to link everyone, everywhere, and speeds the positive effects that connectivity delivers in health, education, along with job development, particularly among our women and young.

Following Telecel Group’s acquisition of a controlling stake in the company, Vodafone Ghana has taken advantage of the alliance among Lynk and Telecel Group to offer cutting-edge services and extensive mobile coverage throughout Ghana’s rural areas.

Vodafone Ghana is one of Ghana’s top companies that provide telecommunications services to individuals, businesses, and international organizations. Vodafone effectively serves a sizeable percentage of the Ghanaian population as the all-in-one communications solution’s provider, providing mobile, fixed lines, internet, voice, and data services.

The company continuously works to improve the quality and scope of its services with a strong emphasis on innovation and client happiness, strengthening its standing in the cutthroat telecommunications market.

With a broad approach to the telecom industry driven by digitization and innovation, Telecel Group is a telecom firm with a focus on Africa. In order to secure considerable future expansion on the African continent, it has successfully positioned itself as an essential service provider that serves mobile customers and businesses.

Lynk is the only satellite-direct-to-standard-mobile-phone solution that is patented, tested, and commercially licensed. In more than a dozen nations, Lynk is now testing satellite direct-to-standard mobile phone services.

By collaborating with Lynk through a straightforward roaming approval, a mobile network provider can access untapped areas for additional revenue, give users security through all-pervasive connectivity, and open the door towards financial success for billions of people worldwide.
