WAEC as part of its efforts towards helping candidates to excel in the up coming BECE and WASSCE has released 8 Official Apor for passing 2023 BECE and WASSCE.
While the Junior High School leaving examination will be held between 7th and 11th August 2023, the WASSCE will start on 30th July with practical papers.
WAECs 8 Tips passing 2023/2024 BECE and WASSCE for School examinations
If you desire to excel in the upcoming BECE and WASSCE, give all the needed attention to the following tips provided by the would be examiner.
The tips provided remain some of the key factor that contribute to student exam failure.
1. Make sure you have been correctly entered for the examination i.e. registered for the right subjects, check for correct spelling/arrangement of names etc.
2. Revise using notes from your teachers, textbooks, past question papers, Chief Examiners’ Reports etc

3. Get to the examination centre early at least 30 minutes before the start of the paper. In the examination hall, make sure you read and understand all instructions before you start work.
4. Write your full name and index number in ink in the spaces provided on your question paper and answer booklet.
5. Use a 2B pencil only to shade your answers for the objective.
6. Read through all questions carefully and make sure you understand the demands of each question before selecting the ones you wish to answer.
7. In determining the requirements of a question, take note of keywords such as – When, State, Describe, Calculate, Compare, Contrast, Define, Discuss, Identify, Illustrate, and Summarise.

8. Write fast and make sure that your handwriting is clear and legible.
