João Palhinha has expressed a strong desire to continue his stay at Tottenham Hotspur after playing a pivotal role in helping the club avoid relegation. The midfielder, currently on loan from Bayern Munich, scored the crucial goal against Everton that secured a 1-0 victory on the final day of the season.
Palhinha’s performance has been instrumental throughout the season, and he has indicated that he feels at home at Tottenham. He stated, “Since the first day I arrived, I feel at home. From the supporters, the crowd. Top club. Who doesn’t want to play for Tottenham and stay here? I have everything here.” He likened his connection with the club to a marriage, expressing his eagerness to make the arrangement permanent.

This season, Palhinha made 45 appearances across all competitions, scoring seven goals. His contributions were vital in key matches, including his earlier goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which also helped secure a vital win.
