Preparations continue for the new season
Following the dominant win, Vincent Kompany granted his players a day off before the next phase of pre-season preparations. The squad is scheduled to travel to Jeju Island, South Korea, for an eight-day Asia tour. This tour will include two friendlies: one against Jeju SK FC and another against Aston Villa.
The Asia tour is expected to see several important players join the group, including Luis Díaz, Konrad Laimer, and Josip Stanišić. The full squad, however, will not be assembled until after the tour. Players such as Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano, Ismael Saibari, and Jamal Musiala are expected to rejoin the team once Bayern Munich returns to Germany, completing Kompany’s roster for the final phase of competitive season preparations.
