NDC Elections at Ayawaso West Wuogon: court quashes injunction attempt, issues 5 restrains against plaintiffs
An Accra High Court has given the green light for NDC constituency Elections at Ayawaso West Wuogon and further gives 5 restraining orders against the plaintiffs.
The final and certified ruling of the Accra High Court presided over by instructed 25 applicants who were seeking an interim injunction on the elections failed to get the order of the court which would have stopped the constituency level elections in the Ayawaso West Wuogon from being held on 11 and 12 November 2022.

Upon Reading the Affidavit of Stanley Easom Quartey of House Number B398/15 Dansoman, Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana, a Clerk at Stobe law, the law firm of the plaintiff/Applicant lawyer herein filed on the 10th day of November, 222 in support of the Motion on Notice for an order for Interim Injunction:
And Upon Hearing Gregory Kwadwo Asiedu Esquire, Council for and on behalf of Plaintiff/Applicants herein:
It is hereby ordered that 7th to 31st defendants/Respondents are restrained from
[1] Voting in the up-coming National Youth Elections, National women election and Regional elections as duly elected constituency Executives of Ayawaso West Wuogon coming up on the 11th and 12th of November 2022 (2)
[2] Holding themselves out as lawful executives of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency;
[3] doing, commencing or continuing any acts which affect or will affect the right of the Application who are eligible candidates at Ayawaso West Wuogon.
[4] from being held out by third parties.
[5] doing, commencing or continuing any acts which will interfere or will interfere with the right of eligible voters of Ayawaso West Wuogon who had selected the Applicant to lead them.

The major opposition party, the NDC is holding constituency elections to elect its leaderships who will work at the grassroot to help wrestle power from the ruling NPP government which has plunged the country into economic distress.
