According to Ben Ephson, Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch Newspaper, Former President John Mahama and NDC National Chairman Asiedu Nketiah, arranged the change in the leadership of the Minority caucus in Parliament.
This follows the opposition NDC’s appointment of Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson as the new Minority leader, which resulted in changes to the NDC’s leadership in Parliament.
Hon. Haruna Iddrisu is replaced by Dr. Ato Forson, the former member of the Finance Committee of Parliament and MP for Ajumako Enyan Essiam.
Mr. Ben Ephson stated that the explanations given by the party do not support their decisions in an interview with Starr News on January 24, 2023.
“I think is the working of former President John Mahama and Asiedu Nketiah and I am going to wonder how the Minority caucus is going to be.”
Asiedu Nketiah, the chairman of the minority NDC, stated that the party’s rebuilding phase includes changing the leadership of the Minority caucus in Parliament.
