The 2026 NBA Finals are generating excitement globally, with fans in various cities preparing to celebrate the event through watch parties, community gatherings, and interactive experiences. The New York Knicks are set to face the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.

Global Fan Engagement

Montreal is hosting its first-ever NBA House in Canada at La Nesra in Griffintown from June 5-8. This four-day event will feature viewing parties for Games 2 and 3 of the Finals, appearances by NBA and WNBA stars, interactive basketball activities, and photo opportunities with the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Notable guests scheduled to appear include three-time WNBA champion Diana Taurasi, NBA champion Serge Ibaka, and three-time NBA champion Danny Green. The event will also highlight women’s basketball with a dedicated WNBA Champions Lounge and a viewing party for the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup matchup between the Toronto Tempo and Chicago Sky on June 7. Both the NBA and WNBA championship trophies will be on display, a first for an NBA House event.

São Paulo, Brazil, is hosting NBA House for its 10th anniversary in the country, located at Shopping Eldorado from June 3-21. This event spans over 6,000 square meters and will include viewing parties for every game of the NBA Finals, interactive fan experiences, live entertainment, gaming, and sneaker customization areas. There will also be an outdoor space with a half-court, LED screens, and food and drink options. Fans can also shop at the official NBA Store and access premium hospitality experiences. Appearances are expected from NBA players Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Gui Santos, as well as former NBA guard Leandro Barbosa. The event will also feature performances by mascots, dunk teams, dance teams, celebrities, and creators, along with a special tribute to Brazilian basketball legend Oscar Schmidt. NBA House Brazil will also introduce the Creators Club, a group of 15 creators who will cover the event across various platforms.

Mexico City is also participating in the NBA Finals celebration with the return of NBA House Mexico 2026, held from June 3-8 at Aztlán Feria de Chapultepec for the first time. This free event will offer live game viewing parties for Games 1–3, fan zones, interactive basketball activities, and entertainment provided by the Indiana Pacers dance team, The Pacemates, mascot Boomer, and the Rim Rockers, the Milwaukee Dunk Team. Former NBA players are also scheduled to make special appearances. Fans can register for free tickets online.

Broadcast Teams and International Viewings

Beyond these major events, other international locations are also hosting viewing parties. On June 6, Amazon will host a public viewing party in Bigger Pictures, Mandaluyong City, Philippines, for Game 2 of the NBA Finals. Similarly, Coupang will host a viewing party in Seoul, South Korea, for Game 2 on the same date.

For the broadcast of the NBA Finals, Prime Sports UK has announced its on-air team, which includes Nicolas Batum, Chris Bosh, Allie Clifton, Vlade Divac, Danillo Gallinari, and Kristina Pink. Amazon Prime Video holds the broadcast rights for the Finals. Chris Bosh, a two-time champion with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013, is among the commentators with significant NBA experience.

These international events follow earlier playoff celebrations, such as NBA House in Melbourne, Australia, from May 14-17, which featured appearances by DeMarcus Cousins and Jock Landale. BUDX NBA House in New Delhi, India, on May 9-10, included a celebrity 3-on-3 game coached by Isiah Thomas and DeMarcus Cousins. NBA House Japan 2026 in Tokyo, presented by Prime, drew 14,000 fans on April 25-26, with appearances by Chris Bosh. The first game of the NBA Finals is scheduled for Thursday in Texas, starting at 02:30 CEST.
